The route has pick up and drop off points for passengers in Mzuzu and Karonga(Malawi) and Mbeya (Tanzania). It is an 18 hour journey and entry into Malawi is through Songwe border post.

Malawi – Zambia: This is a 12 hour journey between the two capitals of Lilongwe and Lusaka. From Lilongwe boarding is at Devil Street bus terminal and Lusaka at the Inter-city bus station. Entry into Malawi is via Mchinji border post which open 24 hours a day.

Malawi – Zimbabwe: the only available route is between Harare and Blantyre. The journey takes about 8 hours from Wenela Station (Blantyre) to Roadport (Harare). Entry port is Mwanza border post with transit through Mozambique from Zimbabwe.

Malawi has land borders with Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. All land borders operate for 12 hours except for Mchinji border with Zambia which operational 24 hours. All Borders issue visas on arrival and the following facilities are available ATM, tax authority, Forex bureau, sim card kiosks, etc.
